Camelback Cultural Series |
The Camelback Cultural Series is an annual series of lectures and concerts that begins in the fall and ends in the following spring. The topics and performers are many and varied. Examples from the past include: Mad Cowboy Howard Lyman, "Exercising for Health, Fitness and Weight Loss" by Sharon Larsen PhD exercise physiologist at the Center for Creative Leadership in Colorado Springs, "Creation vs. Evolution" by Doug Newton PhD, the annual presentation of "Handel's Messiah" by the Phoenix Symphony Chamber Orchestra and Chorus under the direction Robert Moody, "Malta, the Island Fortress" by Ambassador Kathy Proffitt, and many others.
